PRODUCT OVERVIEW: VIHTAVUORI N565 POWDER
Vihtavuori’s research and development team has created a powder that is ideally matched. Vihtavuori is glad to introduce the Vihtavuori N565 Powder in stock, the latest addition to the Vihtavuori N500 series of High Energy powders, as a result of consumer feedback and requests. The Vihtavuori N565 Powder in stock for sale, which is now available for purchase, was developed specifically for the.338 Lapua Magnum cartridge with 250 grain bullets and was intended to bridge the gap between the Vihtavuori N560 and N570 high energy rifle powders.
In addition to having a carefully calibrated burn rate, this powder is exceptionally temperature stable, resulting in consistent results over a wide range of environmental conditions. As an added bonus, Vihtavuori included increased hygroscopic stability as well as a decoppering chemical to guarantee that the barrel was cleaner when shooting. N565 Powder from Vihtavuori is also REACH compliant, as it does not include any DNT or phthalates.
When it comes to size, N565 grains are the same size as those found in N560 powder. It performs similarly to all other Vihtavuori powders in that it flows smoothly through powder measures and ensures good loadability and consistency. In comparison to N570, Vihtavuori N565 Powder burns at a pace that is slightly faster than N570, roughly dividing the gap between the two. Vihtavuori N565 Powder is a single perforated extruded powder with a bulk density of 960 g/l and an energy content of 4000 J/g. Vihtavuori N565 Powder has a bulk density of 960 g/l and an energy content of 4000 J/g.
In spite of the fact that Vihtavuori N565 Powder was originally developed for military sniping applications, it has a wide range of sports applications, particularly in long range shooting. In calibers such as the 7mm Remington Magnum, the.30-06, the 300 Win Mag, the.300 Norma Mag, and the.338Norma Mag, the N565 will show to be an excellent choice, as will the.338 Norma Mag.
